About Us
Our Story
We are a family owned business founded by Mr. Mohammed Afzal and Mr. Wahid Hussain in 1994. The founders brought with them years of experience working in Fiji’s growing coating industry.
The business established itself in its early days and went on to become the leading distributor of both PPG and Dulux paints.
In 2007 the business was taken over by Mohammed Harun who brought with him years of corporate banking experience which has changed the dynamics of how we do business today.
The business has since acquired brands like Cromax, Easicoat, Apco, Protec, Meguiars and Carpro over the last decade. It moved on from being a recognized paint retailer to a leading paint distributor in Fiji. All these brands have allowed us to forge strong relationships with major car dealerships, bus manufacturers/operators, second hand car dealers, small to medium panel shops, construction companies and of course our most valued resellers Fiji wide.
We continue to invest in the latest advancements of technology and training of our people to help us meet the ever changing demands of the coatings industry in the world today. We believe that this together with quality products from globally recognized brands is the secret to our success.
Our Brands
Classic Paints is the Exclusive distributor of automotive coatings brand Easicoat and Cromax (previously known as DuPont) in Fiji, car care brands CarPro and Meguiars together with automotive aftermarket repair and marine care products from 3M. We are also resellers of decorative paint brands APCO and Dulux which are market leaders in Fiji.
